What is Yoga Tune Up®?
Yoga Tune Up® is a blend of yoga and corrective exercise principles combined with various stretching modalities designed to highlight joint mobility and stability. This challenging but accessible practice incorporates movements from classical yoga, calisthenics, and body therapy that explores every micro-region of your body’s anatomy; for relief from chronic tension, increased power through a greater range of movement, and healthy, supple joints.
Yoga Tune Up® Therapy ball self massage is a daily practice designed to eradicate pain, improve posture, and enhance performance. When you don’t feel well, you don’t move well – therapy balls help you to uncover your hiding points of tension to eliminate them as a source of discomfort. By attending any of my Yoga Tune Up classes, you will learn specific techniques to instantly roll out tension, break dysfunctional movement patterns, and provide valuable insight into your own anatomical architecture with the Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls.
What is Mobility for Performance?
Give your self the rest, reset and recovery you need with Mobility for Performance workshops and seminars. As athletes or weekend warriors, we train hard – make sure you recover harder! In these workshops and classes, all of your most knotty bits, including areas of overuse, underuse, misuse and abuse will be rolled out and deeply massaged using Roll Model Therapy Balls. Learn sequences for the core, lower back, upper back, hips, and shoulders that can be used as part of your pre-workout routine or your post-workout recovery, ending with techniques for down-regulating the nervous system and resting deeply.
All people can benefit from regular massage and self-care, regardless of if you are an athlete or not.
I also specialize in yoga for pregnant women and special needs. In any of my classes, expect an experience that is tailored to your body’s needs at the moment. You will use props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, or straps, to help find alignment and comfort in all postures.Prenatal yoga helps to ease the discomfort of pregnancy, build strength, and prepare your body and mind for labor. This is a very exciting time in your life and with your yoga you can relax and build confidence as you prepare to be a Mom.

Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls
YTU and Roll Model Therapy Balls are an essential part of my daily practice. They are a perfect pre-workout warm up and an even better post-workout cool down. They are always in my bag so I can roll out any kinks or knots, work on trouble areas, and maintain my flexibility 24/7.Life is filled with stress, and the body has a tendency to absorb that tension, storing it in the muscles, joints and connective tissue. This ends up restricting the natural flow of blood, lymph, and nerve impulses, which can lead to chronic stress patterns that further exaggerate physical tension. The Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls are a remedy that can help to loosen up overworked or underused areas that have become tension “hot spots.” The balls are made of a special rubber that grips at your skin, grabs at multiple layers of muscles, and rubs out adhesions in a deep penetrating way, much like the hands of a skilled massage therapist. These balls put you in control of your own self-healing as you control the pressure and pace of your massage.
