Nothing fancy! This is just for me to see how you move and give us a good idea of where to start.

Make sure your entire body can be seen in the frame and wear clothing that’s not too baggy and barefoot is best, please. 

I’ve intentionally given you a small amount of information – this isn’t about doing it “right”. It’s so I can see how you move.

1. POSTURE

Get three views of your standing posture: front, side, and back. The less you try to “fix” things, the better!

 

2. SHOULDER CLASP

Clasp your hands together behind your back and bend from the hips. If your hands don’t touch, hold a belt or towel between them.

 

 

3. OVERHEAD REACH

Flex your shoulders by reaching your hands up to the ceiling.

 

 

4. HIP HINGE REACH

With hands reaching overhead, bend from the hips and reach, stopping when you are as close to parallel to the floor as possible. 

 

 

5. SQUAT

Squat as low as possible, keeping your heels on the floor. Get two angles: facing the camera and sideways.

 

 

6. SINGLE LEG BALANCE

Balance on one leg. Remember to show both sides!
