Movement Mavens is for the woman who is done feeling like her body has failed her. She’s done using crutches to avoid hurting herself.

No, I don’t mean actual crutches, I mean:

  • Taking ibuprofen before you go leave the house because you know something will hurt
  • Watching the world go by as you sit on the couch with an ice pack.
  • Missing out on (play, that big hike you’ve wanted to do, the dance class you’ve thought of taking) because you don’t want to pay for it later with pain.

About me:

If you’re here, we’ve probably connected in-person or online. My name is Alex and I teach women how to move better and feel better, every day. My teaching and studies focus on injury prevention, rehabilitation and wellness, inspired by my studies at UC Davis where I earned a BS in Exercise Biology. I have made it my life’s mission to better understand how the body works to help you take back control of your self-care, strength, and injury recovery. I want to teach you how to show up as the best version of yourself. How to be confident in your skin and confident and trusting of your body.
