Hope you all had a wonderful time relaxing over this past holiday weekend. I know I enjoyed the time with family and friends and am looking forward to doing it again next weekend as well. A lot has changed for me in 2012, and all of this relaxation got me thinking about gratitude. We all have something to be grateful for, and this year, I decided to make a list of some of my things. So, in no particular order, here they are:
1. My family, friends, and loved ones who guide me through each and every day.
2. The wonderful universe that brought me not only a dog this year, but Ella =)
3. The people who come to my classes each week
4. This blog and the people who read it
5. Financial stability and the freedoms that it offers
6. Even though the world we live in can be frightening and uncertain, I am grateful to know that there is point to it all, even if I am not yet aware of it.
When was the last time you sat down and thought about what you were grateful for? Mindful gratitude can help to bring our life back to balance. It will probably make you a nicer person too.
May your week be merry and have a safe New Year!
