Today I challenge you to practice gratitude. We live in a world where not everything is rosy and it seems that our only opportunity for happiness and a light at the end of the tunnel is the one we create. See if you can be grateful for every tiny thing today. The chair you are sitting on. The device you are reading this from. Even the commute you have to face this Friday at 5pm. Because face it – at least you have a job, a car, and a well maintained road to get from point A to point B. See if you can be grateful even for the heat of summer, because if this were an ice age, we’d be having some other serious issues.

“We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.” –Buddha

So take the challenge, and be grateful for all that you have and experience. Use your thoughts to create a more positive atmosphere for not only yourself, but also all of those around you.

Create joy… Create generosity… Create peace….
