Join me January 13-20 for the yoga retreat and vacation you’ve dreamed of, but never thought possible. A relaxing and rejuvenating getaway that combines yoga, self-care, and most importantly, FUN.

I know you have many options to consider when it comes to a yoga retreat. Almost every retreat will give you movement twice a day, delicious food, and the opportunity to relax. But what makes my Wellness + Self-Care Retreat different?

First of all, you’ll get to move and play with me for 8-days. I certainly don’t take myself too seriously, especially when it comes to movement and truly feel that it should be fun. I don’t understand why at some time, (probably around age 17 or so?) we collectively decided that we weren’t allowed to have fun anymore. That we had to be more mature and serious with everything we did. So we all went out and got a job, maybe started a family, and started letting the fun be sucked out of our daily life.

But what if it didn’t have to be that way? What if you could go on an adventure where you got to have FUN and do the things that brought you joy and happiness every day for a week straight?

Imagine how refreshed and joyful you’d feel upon returning home. I can’t promise you many things, but I know that you will complete our week feeling like a new person.

A person who is calm.

A person who is relaxed.

A person who is joyful when they want to be.

A person who gets enough sleep! (Even if it’s just for a few days!)

When was the last time you truly had fun with no ulterior motives or plans? While we have three adventures pre-set for us during the week, you still have the choice to sit at the poolside or on the beach for the week reading your favorite book or listening to your favorite music. Every single moment of this week is your choice.

You can join us for a hiking excursion, snorkel trip and community service give-back day – or you can be completely selfish and do what brings you joy.

This is YOUR vacation – I’m just here to facilitate it and send you home a little bit more mobile, strong and a few new ball jokes to keep you laughing through the winter!

Speaking of winter – how many weeks is it into winter before you’re cursing your cold, wet feet and wishing you could stick your toes in some warm sand, even if just for a moment?

Well, you can, as we’ll be in Puerto Vallarta in January – it’s always 84˚F (29˚C) and there is very little rainfall in January, with only around 23mm falling throughout the month. You’ll enjoy 10 hours of daily sunshine, the beach, warm weather, and an opportunity to break out your summer clothes for just one more week. You can return home with a golden tan while everyone else has been shoveling their driveway for the week.

And the location of our private villas is breathtaking. Each room has gorgeous views of the lush jungle and is within walking distance to the beach. Want to take a tour of Old Vallarta? It’s just quick cab ride to downtown, where you can stuff your face with the most authentic tacos you’ve ever tasted.

The villas are quiet without being too secluded – everything you could hope for is within reach, but they will also be your own private getaway if that’s what you want. There is a private pool on site and a beautiful outdoor deck for our twice-daily yoga classes.

Puerto Vallarta was recently ranked as one of the favorite “Best Cities in the World” and “Top Small Cities Outside the US” in this year’s Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards. Puerto Vallarta is one of three Mexican cities to be listed in the top 40 cities in the world and one of two Mexican cities to list in the top 20 small cities in the world.

So, not only will you be in a beautiful and safe city, you’ll also get the chance to practice yoga, self-care, mobility, and strength TWICE A DAY! I’m putting together my best workshops, based on popular request.

Daily practices will include:

  • Upper body strength with planks push-ups, down dog and arm balances
  • Lower body strength with squats, standing poses, dynamic and static hip strength
  • Structurally Sound
  • Posture Rehab
  • T-Rex Hates Chaturanga
  • Therapeutic Massage for your entire body (you’ll learn easy-to-follow sequences that you can recreate at home, as needed)
  • Breath Mechanics to improve relaxation and core strength
  • Banish Back Pain with core strength, breathing and therapeutic self-massage
  • Makeover your Downdog and tune up your shoulders
  • Whatever you want!

And for you business owners and entrepreneurs, I’ll be available to chat social media, building an online presence and video creation. Honestly, you’ll have a chance to ask me anything!

If you feel like you’re completely drained and have nothing more to give, just imagine how refreshed you’ll feel after 8-days of self-care and relaxation. And while it may seem that self-care and pampering yourself is selfish, I promise you it’s not.

We cannot continue to help and serve our family, partners, clients, and students if we are drawing from an empty vessel. It’s simply not sustainable.

If there’s anything I’ve learned in life, it’s that we absolutely must live life to the fullest and 100% in the NOW. What else do we have other than this moment? The next is never guaranteed.
